Resident Committee Appointments

Appointments as a Committee Chair are usually made in December with interested candidates having been interviewed by the Executive Director and/or members of the Resident Executive Committee. They are appointed for a one-year term starting in January. Currently there is a two-year term limit imposed upon Committee Chairs subject to an over-ride by the Executive Director regarding an extension of their appointment.

Statements of Committee Chairs

Assisted Living Committee

Assisted living provides a housing and personal care option for seniors who need help with activities of daily living (ADLs) like bathing, dressing, and medication management, but don't require 24/7 skilled nursing care. These communities offer a balance of independence and support, with personalized care plans, social activities, and amenities like dining, housekeeping, and transportation. (Source: Google AI)
